Having just returned from the International Trademark Association Annual Meeting in Dallas, I can say I am very much looking forward to attending the next INTA meeting in Hong Kong in 2014. Hong Kong is my absolute favorite city in the world.
The highlight for me of the Dallas show (aside from meeting some friends, colleagues, and clients there), was seeing the seminar on new gTLD's, and hearing from some amazing Asian trademark and domain name law practitioners. As far as I am concerned, Asia is an extremely exciting and dynamic region that is bursting with additional potential and fascinating trademark and domain name issues. I always love helping my clients in Hong Kong and Mainland China, as they are wonderful people with great businesses.
I think that I will spend the next year increasing my involvement in Asian related intellectual property issues, as I love Asian culture and business. Here is to the year of the Snake!
